Imperial Conference?
COMMONWEALTH (British Commonwealth of Nations)
Invitations were issued by the British Cabinet to the Governments of the Dominion to send representatives to an Imperial Conference in London. Problems to be discussed:
1) League of Nations protocol
(TIME, Oct. 13).
2) Registration of Imperial treaties with the League (TIME, Dec. 29).
The Dominions for the most part were of the opinion that both points could be discussed "over the wires" without the necessity of a general conference.
It was not certain whether or not the Conference would take place.
