Devil

In the Quaker village of West Branch, Iowa, there was once a tow-haired boy who hung around the printing shop of the local Times so much and caused so much devilment, usually by distributing handset type into wrong boxes, that occasionally he had to be ejected--Herbert Clark Hoover. So said A. W. Jackson, 50 years a country newspaper man, retiring last week from the staff of the Tipton (Iowa) Advertiser.
