Work Done. Last week the U. S. Senate:

P: Debated the tariff bill, revising downward the rates on earthenware, metals, manufactures.

P: Adopted a resolution by Michigan's Couzens directing the Federal Trade Commission to collect data on interstate transmission of electrical power.

P: Adopted a resolution directing Secretary of the Treasury Mellon to account for the expenditure of the $1,719,654 auxiliary prohibition fund appropriated at the last session.

P: Confirmed the nominations of Benjamin H. Littleton as judge of the Court of Claims and Walter Ewing Hope as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.
