Timely Senator
Timely Sentaor
Senator Wesley Livsey Jones was driving placidly home to his ranch near Wenatchee, Wash, one day last week when on a narrow road his automobile confronted another from the opposite direction. He stopped as the other car, unable to pass, ran into a bank. Two youngsters jumped out of it, fled up into the bushes. Behind them came speeding a third machine out of which jumped two more men with revolvers. Senator Jones in open-mouthed wonder, watched them also disappear into the bushes, heard shots. Soon they emerged with the runaways, one of whom was wounded. Senator Jones was speechless with amazement when congratulated for having assisted in the capture of two robbers of a Chelan bank.
