Peronnel

Last week the following were news:

Robert Livingston Clarkson resigned as president of Chase Corp., the securities affiliate which Manhattan's Chase National Bank began liquidating last spring. Onetime (1928-29) president of Chase Bank, he was the third "Wiggin man" to retire since Albert Henry Wiggin resigned as chairman of the Governing Board last year.

Jarnes Barton McDougal, governor of the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank since it was started in 1914, resigned on account of illness. George J. Schaller, Iowa banker, acting governor since Jan. 1, succeeded him.
