Marcia catches Mike's act; they fall for each other and seem headed for happily ever after until Marcia discovers Mike gobbling up fresh frog roadkill. Not your average boy-meets-girl story, off-Broadway's Duet! is a sweetly loopy send-up of '50s Hollywood cliches about love. Wittily weaving such pop culture totems as Hula Hoops and the Ink Spots into a cautionary tale, it's both hip and corny, ironic and romantic. And seriously funny.
